Foundation Update

Board members - As you know today is the anniversary of the day that is the reason for the foundation. On this day 24 years ago Johnathon suddenly passed away and my life changed forever. I want to thank each of your for your commitment to assist me with the foundation. Over the last few months I have been distracted by a family issue and thus my communications to you has been limited. As I sit and reflect on my few short months with Little Man I am rededicating my time to the many things still to do for the foundation and am asking you to take a moment to do the same. I will be sending out a meeting request next week and am asking for you to let me know your availability as soon as possible. While we may have been out of touch recently we have not been idle.  We have accomplished the following over the last few months: The foundation has received its Federal 501 C 3 status  The foundation logo has received its copyright from the federal patent office  We have reached out and contacted multiple families who have lost children, some of which you have seen on the news. We have established funding mechanisms through Paypal and Go Fund Me. The foundation has a business account at Wells Fargo to receive donations and pay bills  We have gotten a service dog for me and are training it in a dual role as a therapy dog for the foundation. She also has an Instagram page and her followers are growing.  The website is up and running. I am working on my page as are others I have asked to contribute to the website. The website has a blog page for visitor question and comment. We have registered to participate in the “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep” Foundation SIDS walk this fall.
